⁴⁰ Ahab slept with his fathers, and Ahaziah, his son, reigned in his stead.

⁴¹ Jehoshaphat’s Reign. Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, began to reign during the fourth year of the reign of Ahab, the king of Israel. ⁴² Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for twenty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Azubah, the daughter of Shilhi.
